S.M.A.Art (Scientific Methodologies applied to Archaeology and Art) is an interdepartmental center of research and high education of the University of Perugia operating in the field of study and conservation of works of art. The Centre, having a strong interdisciplinary character, brings together Professors and researchers from different Departments of the University and some Laboratories of the Inter-University Consortium of Materials Science and Technology (INSTM) and the CNR. The Centre has administrative autonomy and is headed by an Executive Committee including a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, representatives of the research areas, a representative of the INSTM consortium and a representative of the CNR-SCITEC (Chemical Sciences and Technologies) ex-ISTM, Section of Perugia.
